Judith Moskowitz, Ph.D., MPH

Judith Moskowitz, Ph.D., MPH, is a Professor of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Director of Research at the Northwestern Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, and Director of the Behavioral Core of the Third Coast Center for AIDS Research. Trained as a social psychologist, she’studies the impact of positive emotion on adjustment to health-related and other life stress. She is the Principal Investigator of several NIH-funded trials of a positive emotion skills intervention that aims to improve psychological and physical well-being in people coping with health-related and other types of life stress. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Scientific American, and on NPR.
