Helping more young people realize their potential by championing the science of learning and it’s application in everyday life.
Unlocking youth potential through purpose

Incubated at Hopelab, Purpose Commons bridges the gap between the science of purpose and its practical application. The new organization explores novel applications of purpose science to ensure that young people have the support they need to cultivate their sense of purpose. Cultivating a sense of purpose is critical to realizing every person’s potential and creating a cycle that enhances both individual growth and systemic changes. Purpose Commons was founded in partnership with its sister research organization, Purpose Science and Innovation Exchange (PSiX), housed at Cornell University College of Human Ecology.
Purpose Commons is supported by Hopelab, a coalition of funding partners (listed below), and an anonymous donor.
