Vision of the Future: My Hopeful Future

Reflection

This piece reflects my hope for the future.
In my hopeful future we are all free to express ourselves without the fear of being killed solely for existing.
This future depicts a variety of beautiful and colorful characters of all genders and ethnicities.
My future is a safe haven for children of all ages to grow up knowing no fear and living a proper inclusive childhood.
No child labor, no kids in cages, no underage marriages, no premature deaths, no outcasts.
It’s love, kindness, and the sharing of cultures that make my future great.
I can only hope that those who see my work share my vision of this impossible future I so desperately wish could happen.

My name is Jameah Palmer. (jah-me-ahh)
I am a self taught freelance digital and acrylic artist.
I have experience in graphic design, character/visual development and logo work.
My work can easily be recognized by its cartoony and fun nature, its bright and bold colors, and its stylized characters.
My characters are fun but also reflects aspects of my personality and culture in them.
Some of my accomplishments include winning the 2023-2024 Lakers In the Paint contest, winning best animateddocumentary short for “She is Us” at the Marina del Rey Film Festival, and winning best film and screenplay in 2023 with“Kids in the Spotlight” Program.
Art is what I do! I can’t imagine not being a creative!
