Emma Jayne (they/them/she) is an Emmy-nominated composer, award-winning songwriter, and comedian based in Brooklyn, New York. With 3M+ streams across 26 releases, Emma’s music placements on Spotify editorial playlists like Fresh Finds Pop and has been recognized by American Songwriter Magazine.
Notable achievements include composing custom music for Hallmark and Coca-Cola, winning Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Battle of the Instant Songwriters’ on The Tonight Show, performing at Lollapaloozmusic band “Miss Tutti and the Fruity Band,” and creating and starring in original one-person shows at venues like Joe’s Pub, where they were a member of the 2025 Working Group.
Emma is dedicated to modeling honest, committed, and unapologetically queer songwriting for the next generation as the program director for Future Perfect Records: a year-long virtual residqueer artists and producers around the country, culminating in a compilation album and live release show.
Currently, Emma is composing and producing music for a new artist project called “Meyer,” harnessing 90s and y2k pop to explore life after top surgery, and the reclamation of femininity and gtheir own terms. “Muscle (I Still Got It),” a commission for Hopelab, is the debut public work from this project.
