MindRight Health
About MindRight Health
MindRight Health was founded in June 2019 with the mission of making mental health care radically accessible and inclusive. They partner with health plans, including Medicaid, to provide non-clinical mental health coaching via text message to meet youth where they are. Their work centers on communities with historically marginal access to care and leverages technology to create opportunities for systemic healing.
Why We Invested
We believe a good idea has a better shot at succeeding when a passionate founder applies the rigors of clinical research and real-time feedback from users. The MindRight team created a trauma-informed mental health coaching experience for BIPOC youth. Because it was co-created with young people, it interacts with youth in a way that strongly resonates – via text messaging.
