As part of the Hopelab Discovery team, Samira explores emerging and innovative science on youth mental health. She facilitates connections between researchers, entrepreneurs, and youth, with the goal of catalyzing the translation of the science of wellbeing into applied practice. Samira brings to Hopelab her experience working in research, operations, and policy across the mental health delivery system, from inpatient psychiatric care to community-based settings. She is particularly interested in introducing mental health innovations to the Medicaid system.
