"We cannot create what we cannot imagine" — Lucille Clifton
To commemorate the launch of Hopelab Futures, we invited young artists to share their perspectives on the future of mental health and well-being in 25 years. Through diverse forms, stories, and creative practices, these art commissions invite us to imagine mental health and well-being not as systems defined by crisis or clinical intervention alone, but as conditions rooted in belonging, joy, cultural connection, safety, care, and collective power. Together, these artists offer bold, expansive perspectives on what it could mean for every young person to thrive.
